Towards a university Enterprise alliance in Jordan.

TEJ innovation fair, entitled “Business Model Competition 2016” was held on May 31st, 2016 at Petra University. This event comes within TEJ activities to let the students from the partner universities share their project ideas and solutions before an experienced committee.

Students from six partner universities submitted their business models to be evaluated by a nominated committee consists of Eng. Hisham Qattan (Chamber of Commerce), Dr. Mohammad Aljafari (iPARK), Dr. Fahmi Abu Alrub (ASRF), Mr. Khlaed Sharaiha (entrepreneur) and Mr. Nidal Khalifeh (entrepreneur).

The participants provided a summary of their project, problem they are trying to solve, objectives and proposed solution on two designed forms then presented their projects before the committee.

After all the committee named the first place winner (Bluecode team) from Petra University with project title (Al Razi Cloud) which offer a solution for health sector and the second place winner from Isra University with a project about using the renewable energy in street lighting and electronic care for solar cells without a human intervention.

Dr. Walid Salameh awarded the winners the shield of the competition and all the participants received a recognition certificates.
